
UAE lifts Lebanon travel ban from May 7

The EAU have raised the prohibition of traveling so that their citizens visit Lebanon.
According to the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan, and in line with unwavering efforts to improve fraternal ties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has announced the lifting of the prohibition of the prohibition of travel of the Citizens of the US to the Republic of Lebanon.
The trips will be allowed as May 7, 2025.
Travel prohibition of the EAU Lebanon
The announcement continues to the official visit of Joseph Aoun, president of Lebanon, the EAU and his meeting with President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and President Aoun agreed to restore travel for citizens after taking the necessary procedures and mechanisms to relieve movement between the two nations.
Travel requirements and guidelines include:
- Citizens must ensure that they are registered with Mofa’s Twajudi service before the exit, whether they travel directly from the Eau airports or in third countries. The registration is mandatory, and travelers must also notify the authorities of their return through the same platform
- The Eau nationals will not be able to leave through the airports of the United Arab Emirates unless they have completed the Twajudi record. Failure can be the result of delays or legal responsibility
- MOFA urges the citizens of the Arab Emirates attached to provide full and precise information, including their address provided for in Lebanon, contact data for emergencies and the purpose of traveling. Any change must be updated quickly. Do not register or update one residential information can lead to legal consequences
- MOFA underlines the importance of adhering to these procedures to guarantee the security and well -being of the citizens of the EAU abroad
Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon, said that the Eau’s decision to raise the trip prohibition of the Emirati citizens who visit Lebanon reflects the depth of fraternal relations between the two nations.
In a statement taken today by the National News Agency of Lebanon, Dr. Salam extended a deep gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan for this important movement.
Hi, he added that Lebanon and his anxious people hope to welcome their Emirati brothers, as well as visitors from all over Gulf and the Arab world.
