Coucou is the newest Restaurant and Bar of Dubai. Located in La Palma’s view, it presents an impressive 360 ​​-day view of Dubai, including the horizon of Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and Beyond. Its menu is inspired by the Mediterranean and French cuisine along with an extensive list of exclusive wines and cocktails, while its decoration combines classical elegance and contemporary elegance. My wife and I could go through Coucou on a working day and for a luxurious gastronomic experience.

Reserve a table in advance is important since the place can be busy. It is an ideal place for an intimate dinner or a night with friends. The restaurant is equipped with outer seat, so you can enjoy fascinating views while you eat your food. And if that is not enough, there is also a Shisha Lounge to overcome the experience.

We tried the dishes served in Coucou and we had its exclusive guacamole, salad with goat cheese and tomatoes, smoked meat and grilled marinated pawns.

For our main dish, we had the grilled Mediterranean lubina that was served with zucchini and artichoke puree. The Waouh grill chuleton served on a small grill and cooked perfectly in our liking.

Dessert

For desserts, we had the inverted tiramisu and the demoiselles Tarte Tatin. While the tiramisu was good, the squamousness of the tatte tatin dough plus the sweetness of the apple was simply divine.

Drink

Coucou presents a series of exclusive cocktails, refreshing drinks and a variety of wines. We had a portion of Mai Tai, gentlemen’s swag (Geneva Tanqueray infused with basil), and dancing like a couout (Geneva Tanqueray with Savia Flower Syrup, Toronja and Sandía de Red Bull), and Virgin Mary Mocktail. Guests can also choose between a selection of beers, spirits and shampas.

The best views on Dubai’s roof while they have dinner

Upon reaching that the same, we could not hide our smiles after discovering that the table was right in front of the windows. The view of the Palm Jumeirah horizon with its beautiful lights and reflexes in the water was simply spectacular.

Probably the highlight of why this restaurant is a forced visit are its fascinating views of Dubai. Where else can you get a view of the city and the Palm Jumeirah horizon while savoring a delicious Mediterranean cuisine?
