The executive director, together with his previous mission from the Middle East to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in 2023, visited four of the six Member States of the CCG. “The HKSAR government is now activating a free trade agreement with the GCC to access this vital market even more,” Lee said.

Fifth, deepen mutual understanding and strengthening of commercial networks and connections through the promotion of Hong Kong and Continental China’s strengths and opportunities to the partners in Qatar and Kuwait.

Sixth, advance of cultural exchanges and connections of people to people with CCG countries.

“The Middle East countries seek risk diversification and look for opportunities in China (Continental) and Hksar to make the tide of global economic change to the east,” Lee said.
