
Southwest Airlines plane traveling to Denver possibly hit by lightning

No injuries were informed after the plane landed safely while heading from the Tampa International Airport.
Denver, Colo. -Southwest Airlines said Monday that a plane flew from Florida to Colorado was possible by a half -flight ray.
According to the airline’s public relations team, flight 186 was traveling from Tampa International Airport to Denver International Airport when the possible ray strike occurred.
The plane was able to land safely without injuries, according to the southwest.
The threat of the fallen day storm grows as millions are heading home after the busy festive weekend

“Our maintenance equipment took out the aircraft out of service for inspection,” said Laura Swift, spokesman for the airline.
The severe storms are developing in a large strip in the southern United States while millions of people travel for the day of the fallen.
