Near-drowning incident at Fort Lauderdale Beach leaves 3 people hospitalized

According to Guzmán, oceanic rescue lieutenants were able to rescue the girl and take her to the coast. However, his father initially had no account until the lieutenants were able to locate him under water. He was taken back to the beach, where the paramedics requested rescue measures.
The girl, her father and the good Samaritan were transported by paramedics to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. Until Monday morning, Guzman had no update on his conditions.
