100 emirati women trained to excel in artificial intelligence
June 17, 2025: Dubai, EAU: Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) or Dubai has organized the graduation of the Nomu Al Ghurair Women In AI program, in collaboration with the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation (AGF) and the Pioneer Educational Institution, Zaka. The event recognized the achievements of 70 Emirati and The Arab women who succeed completed the 20 -week AI Certification Program with Zaka, which were established to increase the ability of artificial intelligence skills and automatic learning in the EAU.

Organized by the co -founder of Zaka and Chief of Associations, Larissa Abi Nakhle, the ceremony welcomed the president of Rit Dubai, Dr. Yousef Al Assaf and the CEO of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, Dr. Sonia Benia Jaafar. In the Opening Comments, Dr. Ben Jaafar highlighted the dedication of the foundation to the improvement of Emirati women and supported their entry into the AI labor market, training them to become leaders in the digital future of the region.

Going to the graduates, Dr. Ben Jaafar said: “You have entered a field dominated by men, and you did it with this bold and without fear. You are the spark of a movement; a sign that the EU innovation economy will not be built only by machines, it will be built by women like you. Not only your future is changing, you are changing a global statistics.”
Welcoming the guests on behalf of Dubai, Dr. Al Assaf tested an overview of the six censurators that will be launched as the development of the campus continues, and invited graduates to explore opportunities for collaboration with the university. The event processed with the award of certificates to the cohort of students representing the EAU and other Arab nations. The graduation marked the culmination of a highly selective and challenging program that combined technology with work preparation skills to prepare candidates for the future of work. The program was established in the context of early expansion in the Middle East sector, with an expected annual growth rate that ranges between 20 and 34 percent, projecting a potential impact or $ 320 billion by 2030.
As part of the program, students undertook an intensive study plan of 12 weeks, which involves topics that include data science, statistical modeling, neural networks and automatic learning. The curriculum concluded with an eight -week Capstone project, which are participants worked in a real -life task proposed by an associated company, applying the skills they had learned to dig up the course. This phase includes weekly tutoring sessions to guide the participants through the project.
