The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has convinced an emergency session after the attacks led by the USL in Iranian nuclear sites, which caused strong repripes of several Member States and Remedewed calls a high fire in the middle of the Atatt, while Alía Israel.
Russia, China and Pakistan have proposed a resolution that requires a “high and unconditional fire”, according to diplomats familiar with the draft circulated on Sunday. Although the proposal does not explicitly name the United States or Israel, condemns attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. A vote has not yet programmed one leg.
To approve, the resolution requires the support of at least nine members and no veto of the five permanent members: China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. This makes it a non -starter since the United States will not censor itself.
Speaking to UNSC, UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, warned that the region was stopped “on the edge of a deadly spiral.”
“The bombardment of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States marks a dangerous turn in a region that is already staggering,” said Guterres. “Now we risk descending to a retaliation Rathole after reprisals. We must immediately and decisively act, stop fighting and return to serious and sustained negotiations about Iran’s nuclear program.”
The interim ambassador of the United States, Dorothy Shea, finished military action, saying that Washington had moved to dismantle Iran’s enrichment capacity to protect US citizens and allies.
“Finally, it was time for the United States to, in defense of its ally and its own interests, acts decisively,” Shea told the Chamber. “Iran should not climb … Any Iranian, direct or indirect attack, against Americans or US bases will be with devastating reprisals.”
Iran’s ambassador Ali Bahraini said that Israeli and American attacks against Iran did not come “in the void” and were the result of “motivated political actions” of the United States and its European partners.
He said the United States “decided to destroy diplomacy.” He defined clearly that the Iranian army will decide on the “moment, nature and scale” of his response.
Meanwhile, Israel’s UN envoy Danny Danon said the attacks had made the world “a safer place”, rejecting the calls to the conviction. When asked if Israel supported the regime change in Tehran, he said: “That is for the Iranian people to decide, not for us.”
China’s ambassador, Fu Cong, condemned US strikes and urged Rausrint. “We call a high immediate fire,” he said. “China is deeply concerned about the risk that the situation will get out of control.”
The UN envoy of Russia, Vasily Nebenzy, described attacks as another sign of Washington’s contempt for global standards. “The United States has opened a pandora box,” he said. “No one knows what the catastrophe or suffering will follow.”
The Pakistan ambassador, equal Iphtikhar Ahmad, also condemned to the bombing of the United States as deeply worrying. “The strong increase in tensions and violence as a result of Israeli aggression and illegal actions is deeply disturbing,” Hey said. “Pakistan is in solidarity with the government and fraternal people of Iran during this challenging moment.”
This comment comes a day after Pakistan suggested that the president of the United States, Donald Trump, was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Trump’s announcement that the US forces had “erased” the key nuclear sites of Iran marked the most significant Western military action against Tehran since the 1979 revolution.
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (OIEA), Rafael Grossi, told the UNSC that, although the underground damage scale remained without being clear, the impact craters were visible at the Fordow enrichment site. The entries to the tunnels at the Isfahan site seemed to have beaten bones, while Natanz, for a long time, an Israeli target or sabotage, had a leg blow again.
Iran has punished Grossi for being congratulated for racking the way for Israel and the United States to attack him.
The Board of Governors of the OIEA approved a decline of resolution that Iran did not fulfill its commitment to international nuclear safeguards the day before Israel launched its initial attack on June 13.
