When it comes to creating an impeccable makeup finish, I understand the importance of achieving a soft eye area. The eyes are often the focal point of its makeup appearance, and having a soft canvas can mark a world of difference. Skin care is as important as makeup, and caring for delicate skin around the eyes is essential to achieve a soft and youthful appearance. Here, I share my best tips on how to soften the area of the eyes, along with five product recommendations that can help you achieve the desired results.

Higher tips to soften the area of the eyes
Tip 1: Hydrate and hydrate
Keeping the skin around the eyes well hydrated is crucial to clarify a soft appearance and plump to its complexion. Look for moisturizers containing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and ceramids, which help block moisture and improve skin elasticity.
Tip 2: Use a eye cream
Adding a good eye cream to your skin care routine is essential to relax and hydrate the eye area, avoid swelling and leave it with soft skin without wrinkles. The skin around the eyes is delicate and prone to show signs of aging, so it is important to give more care.

Tip 3: Soft cleaning
When removing makeup or cleaning the skin around the eyes, it is important to be soft. The skin below and around the eyes can be thin and delicate, and excessive pressure can contribute to fine lines and wrinkles. Use a soft cleaner and avoid using water that is too hot or too cold, since they can dry your skin and make it look opaque.
Tip 4: Wear sunglasses
While it is important to apply a broad spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF30 to protect your skin, if you apply it to your eyes, it can cause irritation. Therefore, to completely protect the delicate skin around your eyes, I recommend wearing sunglasses as frequently as possible. There is a reason why many celebrities always wear sunglasses outside, and it’s not just to protect their privacy!
Tip 5: Massage
Massaging the skin around the eyes can help improve circulation and reduce swelling. Using a very light pressure and one or two fingers, gently massage the area with circular movements, just around the outer corners of the eyes (as the cream will travel inwards). Do this when applying your eye cream to make sure the product is completely absorbed. Read my guide for facial massage here.
