Stylist Picks: Double Denim Spring Summer 2025
- Beauty
- May 2, 2025

Once the little black dress ruled the 90s, but now it is the denim shift. It is not surprising that the denim has established the status of a luxury article too much for our wardrobe. There are more ways to use it, more ways to do it yours, so you have: how many pairs are already in your closet?
We have all become denimous connoisseurs at this point, educated in the art of perfecting everything, from the weekend appearance of cured to postparta pranks. With a wide range of options available today, from high street robberies to designer dreams, we still find ourselves in the endless search for perfect jeans and that elusive denim shirt.

While I adore the co-oords of denim, skirts, vests and shorts, for this feature I am staying with the last classic, double denim. The iconic American combo of the Jean and Jean shirt perfect.
Domaining the dual -called appearance reaches a key detail: contrast. Combining your jeans with a denim shirt that is just a clearer or darker shadow keeps the atmosphere that is great. In addition, I do not shy away playing with proportions, dimensioning or lowering your denim shirt opens an endless potential. Ty it on a shirt, the spring comes, or combine it with an elegant roll neck in autumn for that great look, lived.
Then, without further ado (and with only one touch of retail therapy of the best brands owned by the thesis), here are my six favorite American designers (all of them are guardians, there are no reviews here) to nail the aspect.

Jamie Haller
Jamie Haller | The fold in the flat fold
The Jean fold is your dream dream. That great and vintage inspired adjustment that never goes out of style. It is your option to see you long, thin and timeless. Designed by a native Californian, so it does not become more authentic than this collection of Jamie Haller denim.
B-Lades
Sides b jeans | Lasso Jean Vista Blue.
Handmade to dominate even the most complicated phys, sides B jeans not only use, but evolve. The son of jeans that improve with each step, fading and year. Like Real Denim should!
Ulla Johnson
Ulla Johnson | The Asher Jean Danube
I have been a fan from the beginning. Ulla’s clothes would wear barefoot in a cliff in Portugal or dressed for an elegant dinner in the city, and jeans are the type of pieces that feel directional without too hard in the true style of New York.
Each apart
Each apart from Meridian Jean
Another favorite of New York with a design philosophy rooted in real life: “Can you go at least a week?” Your denim line? A costume hero, season after season.
Nili Lotan
Nili Lotan | Collins denim shirt
One of my favorite denim shirts. Nostalgia is Nili Lotan’s heart. When I see their collections and how they show them it is clear why so many women are drawn. It is a feeling, a mood, a modern memory.
TWP
TWP | Ranchero daughter in denim
Since his debut in 2021, TWP has captured my imagination. With refined silhouettes that settle American classic work clothes, they achieve a surprising balance between elegance and utility. Looking good without feeling beautiful, that’s the ideal point today!
