The University of London brings together leaders and regional students in Dubai to defend the role of international qualifications to promote innovation, employability and lifes

Dubai, Eau; May 15, 2025: As the EAU accelerate their national approach in innovation, the creation of knowledge and inclusive education, the University of London brought together leaders, educators, alumni and policy formulators in Dubai to explore how Gobbal education is evolving these.

Held in the Dubai edition under the subject “The power of global education”The night brought together about 100 guests to discuss the impact of International grades on national development, preparation of talent and digital transformation in the EAU.

Speaking at the event, Alistair Jarvis CbePRO VICERRECTOR (Associations and Governance) of the University of London, said: “In an increasingly connected and digital world, accessible global education is essential to build a qualified and resistant workforce. We are proud to support the ambitious objectives of the EAU by providing a flexible model that the apprentices are maintained roots in their community while gaining the recognized international qualifications.” “

Global knowledge meets local delivery

The discussion highlighted the value of the recognized teaching centers (RTC), the local partners of the University of London in the EAU that support students with face -to -face learning by maintaining the academic standards of the United Kingdom. The model provides EAU students access to law, business and computer science programs designed by first -level British universities.

Dr. Wes HarryMBRF representation spoke about the importance of the skills ready for the future, referring to the global knowledge index and the Academy of Future Skills as tools that help educational systems to adapt economic needs. He said: “The development of skills is not just about what we need today, it is about anticipating the future. Institutions such as the University of London play a vital role in bringing global capabilities to local contexts.”

Infact student and international recognition

The event also celebrated the achievements of the growing community of former students of the University in the EAU, including lawyer Hamna Zain, who was recently recognized as a finalist in the hero of the United Kingdom’s Alumni Awards of the British Council of 2025 in Dubai on May 14. Its recognition reflects the impact of the US -based professionals worldwide that contribute to legal progress, public service and international collaboration.

With more than 1,500 alumni and students in the EAU, the University of London continues to expand its regional footprint through its RTC based in the EAU: University of Dubai, Kaplan Mena, Amity University Dubai and Britts Imperial College.
