Sharjah explores cooperation with Guinean cities in higher education and civil aviation

The Sharjah Government Relations Department (DGR) explored roads to strengthen cooperation in higher education, civil aviation and cultural exchange with a high -level Guinean delegation directed by its excellence Sekoufke Camates.

Sheikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, president of DGR, welcomed the ambassador and emphasized the importance of fosted dialogue and improve cooperation with African nations. The importance of exploring joint development opportunities that promote regional stability and serve the mutual interests of both parties were emphasized.

Duration The meeting, the Guinean ambassador transmitted the interest of his country to encourage Guinean students to follow Higher Education in Sharjah. He also discussed the possible establishment of scholarship opportunities and expressed interest in organizing visits to academic institutions throughout the Emirate. These visits, coordinated in collaboration with DGR, would provide a first -hand vision of the educational environment and academic offers in Sharjah.

The meeting also explored the potential collaboration with Air Arabia to introduce direct flights between Sharjah and Guinea. Both parties recognize the important role that such development could play to improve connectivity and advance in economic, commercial and cultural relations. A monitoring meeting will be scheduled with the relevant stakeholders to explore this initiative more.
