Evans accused her husband separated from breaking an order without contact and trying to steal her motorcycle while she was out. She informed the authorities that Eason had no right to be close to her home or take any of the belongings.

However, after an investigation, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina did not find evidence of irregularities by Eason. The office determined that nothing had been tasks that violated judicial orders.

In addition, Eason had organized a civil waiting, a procedure that allows the police to supervise the exchange of personal items to avoid conflicts.

Despite this legal authorization, Evans remained disseminated, since his representative stressed that the court order explicitly prohibited Eason from being on his property, regardless of whether he was there at that time.
