Dubai’s GITEX 2025 Proves the Robot Revolution Has Already Arrived

Dubai, UAE — Robots Blend Seamlessly with Humans at GITEX Global 2025

At GITEX Global 2025 inside the Dubai World Trade Centre, the future feels tangible as robots walk, talk, and teach among visitors. The event showcases how quickly artificial intelligence and robotics are becoming part of daily human life

Sanad: The UAE’s AI Teaching Assistant

Among the many innovations, Sanad stands out for its emotional intelligence. Developed by Latifa Alhammadi, Academic Vice Principal at Al Ethaar School in Abu Dhabi, Sanad is the UAE’s first AI-powered teaching assistant created to support both teachers and students.

“Sanad in Arabic means support,” said Alhammadi. “And that’s exactly what this robot does.”

Sanad personalizes lessons for every child, adjusting difficulty levels based on performance. It helps students learn at their own pace and currently teaches English, with plans to expand into other languages.

Developed entirely in the UAE during Alhammadi’s PhD research, Sanad is now being prepared for introduction in public schools for grades 1 to 5 after Ministry of Education approval.

Beyond academics, Sanad also chats with students during breaks to encourage conversation skills. The next version will include advanced sensors and facial recognition to identify students automatically.

Robotics Take the Spotlight

The GITEX exhibition also highlighted global breakthroughs such as Booster T1, an agile humanoid capable of complex movements, and the X30 quadruped robot, built for industrial inspection and security.

Both demonstrated how robotics is evolving from controlled environments to real-world applications, blending strength with intelligence.

Dubai Leads the Innovation Wave

From empathetic teaching assistants to advanced industrial robots, GITEX Global 2025 proved that the age of robotics is here — and Dubai is leading the way.
