Green Notebook from a Bahraini supermarket – joeblogsf1

In 1908, a British diplomat named JG Lorimer wrote a book that ran to 5,000 pages. It was called “Gazette of the Persian Gulf, Oman and Central Arabia.” It was a secret document designed for British colonial personnel to understand the region and remained classified until 1955 when it was revealed that it was a surprising analysis, literally without stone without removing. He described Juffair as a picturesque town or Shiite from Baharna, which consisted or rode cabins, surrounded by lucena fields and lush dotile palm forests. The locals were fishermen farmers and there were some pearl diving ships that would be along the coast.
Juffair is not like those thesis days. It has little that is not sand, concrete, brick or asphalt.
But it is not a bad place and it would be difficult to find a more cosmopolitan place. You will find the construction workers of the Indian subcontinent playing the Crick in the Earth patches that have not yet developed, but otherwise it is a place of bright skyscrapers, with the elegant mosque of Al Fateh on the road. It is a neighborhood where you can buy anything, or that is how it feels … the day off that had been ruined by a sandstorm, so I wandered the local supermarket and collected a flavor kit. They had delights as English as Branston Pickle and I only saw a Fray print fillet cake (which is very British). But then there are all the Indian spices that you can imagine, not to mention Wasabi, Pink Marshmallows and I am sure that if it were a Vikingo I could find sandstones in pickle. They have a real bacon, which in this part of the world is frowned upon. All this emotion led me to decide to have an American lunch, although I could choose any number or different types of food that are Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, Italians or whatever. Well, maybe not German.
Here in Bahrain, the Americans and the Chinese cohabit without throwing their toys from each other … In fact, there are much more Chinese than I remember, which can be indicative of the times when we live as Americans become less welcome than the case. I have been wondering for a while if the successful Netflix Emily program in Paris will have to cancel the next series and change it Emily in Moscow.
Netflix is currently discussed in F1 circles as continuous negotiations in television rights of the United States for Formula 1. This year’s visualization figures have been quite dramatic (not in the general scheme of things, but in terms of improvement). The Australian header was observed by 1.1 million American viewers, despite starting at midnight from the east. The Chinese head doctor, who began at 03.00 and classified 824,000. The Japanese head doctor, transmitted to 01.00, described 534,000, which increased by 10 percent, but the audience of the year to date has increased by 49.2 percent compared to last year. Bahrain, which was issued at 11.00 ET, described 1.2 million ESPN 2, which compared to the 2.0 million Nascar de Bristol in FS1 and Indycar’s 552000 of Long Beach in Fox. The great test will be in Miami, where F1 obtained 3.1 million last year. F1 will overcome Nascar this year?
Anyway, the influence of the United States is bigger here in Bahrain, thanks to a place called “Bahrein Naval Support Activity”, where 9,000 people from the Department of Defense work. The base describes itself as “the 152 most active acres in the world”, as seen after all naval activity east of Suez and acts as the headquarters of the fifth fleet. When it comes to the promised American military acronyms, this is Comusnavcent/Comfifthflt or Nsa Bahrain. For those who know these theses, the NSA acronym does not always represent the naval support activity, it is also used for the National Security Agency, which is an intelligence service (Sigint) for global monitoring and collection and counterweights and data for global.
I am sure that similar acronyms are just a coincidence …
So, that is why I am eating key lime in a place that makes a decent barbecue of Texas, a good chili and even sliding controls. If that sounds as out of place as the country and Western music, then readers may need to modify their ideas. The British retired from Bahrain in the 1970s, but recently opened a new permanent naval base called HMS Juffair in 2018.
Italy’s best side appeared during Bahrain’s weekend when the Barilla company announced that it will become the official pasta of Formula 1 and we went out to try some of the pastes cooked by an elegant chef. Barilla is an impressive company with production facilities on every day of world thesis, including one in OWA, and its monstrous factory in Parma produces 1,400 tons or pasta every day. It also produces a fixed number of sauces, bakery products and snacks, which brings impressive € 4.8 billion a year, which translates into profits that are north or 280 million euros. One might think that the F1 agreement was due to the fact that Paolo Barilla once was a driver of the Grand Prix with Minardi (and also won the LE MANS 24 hours), but when I entered the event I recognized him, and the darkness continued to say Heineken. So, when I looked for everything, the CEO of Sawilla, Gianluca Di Tondo, was also the person who made the deal for Heineken to be a sponsor of F1 … The conclusion of this is that F1 can sell almost anything thesis …
The great news of the F1 weekend in Bahrein was about the FIA as a result of the resignation of the Vice President of the FIA, Robert Reid, who made it very clear what he thinks about the president and his policies (perhaps that is a word and “actions” too great). Reid’s demolition of the president was backed up by a similarly destructive interview that former fia ceo natalie robyn did the bbc and by the news that david richards, who supported mohammed ben sulayem in the election in 2021 is tkinged taking tkinged takinged taking takinged takinged takinged takinged takinged takinged takinged takinged tkinged takinged takinged tkinged TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED BARED BAKING BHAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED TAKINGED ACCIONED BAKINGED ACCIONEDED Acciódedduede de dede de dede de de sarde must be due to must be at the end of the case of the provisions of the provisions of the provisions of the Council of the Council Meetings of the Council. Everything is rather a disaster, but it seems that many people from the FIA have decided that Ben Sulayem is not the president they wanted. We will see how everything is, but the word is that it is a candidate to challenge it in December and this person will come from the federation’s mobility side. We do not know who it is yet, but Ben Sulayem must expect all his disorderly loose ends (such as Hitech F1 arbitration and the case of Librel of Susie Wolff) not come and will bite his butt in the coming months. The presidents of the FIA Club are an unreliable lot and will jump from a ship like rats if they think that Ben Sulayem will be on the loser side. Ben Sulayem blames any negative press of a conspiracy against him, which can end with a self -fulfilling prophecy …
There were also discussions in Bahrain about the Formula 1 2026 calendar. There will be a lot of changes (according to all accounts), but the season will begin a week before this year, with Melbourne expected on March 8. Miami and Montreal will be together in May and Monaco will be the first European in the Baragnaagnaagnagnagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnnaagnaagnavnaagnaagnagnagnagnagnagnagnagnay Naagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnaagnagnagnagnagnagnagnagnagna With Barcelona a week after Monaco and Madrid will take place after Monza in September, but since no work has still been done in Madrid, there will be questions about whether it will happen.
The other talk focused on reserve drivers with Williams decided to hire Victor Martins, who was recently expelled from the Alpine program. The logic of this seemed a bit strange until I was tolerated that the other formula 2 driver of Williams, Luke Browning, does not have surface and that Martins has many miles of F1 to his credit after a TPC test program with Alpine. There are many former alpine engineers who now work in Williams and everyone seems to think that this is a good idea, while Alpine said he was happy to see the rivals take off their discarded …
Formula 3’s Sprint race in Manama was interesting because a young British named Freddie Slater caused a great impression on his series in the series. The former 16 -year -old world karting champion is due to the race this year in Europe regional formula, but has an advantage of the F3 Sprint Top 12 inverted format to fight with the experience much more of Nikola Tsolov, a protected from Fernando. In the end, Slater finished second on the Tsolov wheels, who is in its third season of F3. There has been talk that Slater was on Audi’s purchase list for young drivers, but the whisper in Bahrein was that it can appear using papaya, since it is managed by Add Management, which takes care of Lando Norris’s career …
That’s all in Bahrain, but there could be some more rumors in Saudi Arabia, where they specialize in spending money …
