
Johnson & Johnson Sets Guinness World Record With Largest Awareness Ribbon Mosaic In Support Of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

Johnson & Johnson establishes Guinness World with Largt Abongess Ribbon Mosaic in support of intestinal inflammatory disease (EII)
In recognition of the World Day of Inflammatory Diseases of Inflammatory Diseases (EII), Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine – Gulf, with the support of the Society Emirates of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, has established a Guinwel Mosagnase tape (IBD), highlighting the need for early abundance and diagnosis.
The record installation covers 30 square meters and was assembled using more than 20,000 Purple IBD awareness tapes. This powerful visual representation of solidarity aims to shed light on the challenges faced by the patron symbol of EII.
Intestinal inflammatory disease (II) is a group of chronic inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract and is divided into Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The disease can significantly affect the quality of life of a patient, or lead to persistent symptoms such as abdominal pain, fatigue and unwanted weight loss. The recent study shows that IBD affects approximately 10 million people worldwide, reflecting its growing global load and the growing need for timely diagnosis and long -term management.
Dr. Sameer Alawadhi, president of the Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of Emirates, said: “Disseminating awareness about intestinal inflammatory disease is an essential aspect of our mission, since appropriate diagnosis and intervention is crucial for effective management of this chronic condition. This initiative is not only that the sacrifices of hopes with care and collective results of toy patients.”
