Dubai real estate sector recorded $6bn of transactions last week, including $16m Palm Jumeirah apartment

The real estate sector of Dubai registered AED22.16bn ($ 6 billion) or transactions last week, according to the land department data.

Sales transactions dominated the figures, with AED15.47 billion ($ 4.2 billion), according to the land department data.

In total there were 4,490 sales transactions registered between April 28 and May 2.

Dubai Real Estate this week

Among the most ex -sales transactions that are on the website of the land department were:

  • An apartment in one in Palm Jumeirah in Palm Jumeirah was sold by AED60m ($ 16.3m)
  • An apartment in Mueba Veil on the Dubai water channel was sold by AED33.46m ($ 9.1m)
  • An apartment in six senses residences in the Palm Jumeirah area was sold by AED27.5m ($ 7.5m)

The land department also showed mortgage agreements worth AED5.12 billion ($ 1.4 billion) last week.

Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED1.57bn ($ 427 million).
