The Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) registered exceptional economic performance in 2024.
According to its economic impact report, DWTC organized 100 main events, an annual increase of 32 percent, which includes international exhibitions, high -level conferences and global association meetings.
These events attracted more than 2 million attendees and generated AED22.35bn ($ 6.1) in total economic production, with AED13.04bn ($ 3.6 billion) retained within the local GDP of Dubai.
Notable, around 936000 international visitors attended DWTC events, reinforcing Dubai’s stature as a global commercial tourism destination.
This strong performance coincides with the launch of the first phase of the DWTCS expansion project, scheduled for its completion in 2026. The expansion aims to strengthen Dubai’s ability to organize Mega events and improve its economic center based on innovation.
The Sharjah (ECS) exhibition center is also playing a fundamental role in supporting the national exhibition industry, helping to boost the growth of various economic, social, cultural and educational sectors, all aligned with sustainable development objectives.
The 2025 calendar of the center includes a line of events specialized in key sectors such as industry, intelligent transport, trade, medical care, perfumery and jewelry.
The ECS and its branches in Khor Fakkan and Dhaid marked significant achievements in 2024, organizing and organizing 80 main exhibitions, an increase of 60 percent compared to 2023.
