How Jesse Leach Learned to Scream

How Jesse Leach Learned to Scream

In this week’s new episode of how I learned to shout, we introduced Killswitch vocalist Jesse Leach.

Loudwire had the opportunity to attend the Sonic Temple Festival of Ohio last month, and while we were there, we captured a new value of a full season of how I learned to shout (and how I learned to sing) episodes. We are launching this lot with Leach.

It’s curious, Leach discovered his most powerful vocal abilities by accident. He recalled a time when Kured was, and the sound that came out of him when it happened made him realize that he had something special.

“I was 14 years old, passing 15 when I heard that kind of voice for the first time,” Leach said. “Death grows and then the unconditional screams were the two things that really left me speechless.”

To listen to how Leach’s parents reacted to their screams, that the vocalists have inspired him more and how he caresses his own voice, looks at the episode below.
