Oman 70.3 was the first time he made a medium distance race, increasing from T100 in November and 12 months after my first triathlon.
The race attracted me not only to make a 70.3, but also travel to a new country/city that has recreated me honely for many to visit.
Trips/logistics
I decided to fly on Thursday before the race (Saturday) and return to the Sunday event to get more time in the city. I used a box of bicycle Alan with Fly Dubai and I had no problems (Expept for a bit of YouTube, at the hotel to put together, heroes the races of the grateful races!).
Training
I had a solid 4 weeks of training in the previous period before the Racing Week after the return of Ireland for 2 weeks over the Christmas period, with emphasis on the bicycle given the distance and elevation of the course.
In the rhythm in the rhythm in the rhythm in the rhythm in the rhythm of stimulation in the rhythm in the rhythm of stimulation in the rhythm in the rhythm in the rhythm in the rhythm in the rhythm of the day.
I have also been making the swimmed of the Open Waters Tridubai regularly, which seemed very beneficial for confidence in water, sighting and trying to write other swimmers (it is still a massive job in progress). I also made a swimming program with Rory Buck in the period prior to T100, which was excellent.
Career day
Swim:
The water was very quiet in the morning races and I was very happy with my bathroom. I thought I sowed properly but I had to pass many swimmers at the beginning. Once I crossed this, I settled in a good rhythm and it was a fairly soft navigation from there. It is difficult to compare the swimming times since the tide was out a bit and the beginning was a bit swim/race, but I arrive in approximately 34 minutes with which it was excited (as you consider special you could barely step on the water 16 months ago).

Bicycle:
On the bicycle it was a love/hate relationship. The course of the bicycle was brilliant, the first 30 km more or less was an incredible scenario that passed through Old Muscat and other small towns with excellent road conditions through the time. The big climb around the 35 km mark was a great challenge, I did my best to continue with my range of target power, but maybe I got a little sometimes excited. I started fighting a little from the long climb to about 55 km, the legs were exhausting and I had some stomach problems of my nutrition. I found a big difference in the additional 10 km versus the T100 bicycle division (80 km). It was soft to get out of the bicycle at the end, but it was an incredible experience.

Run:
I ended up having a very good career after initially fighting with my stomach. My plan was to get a little easier during the first 3 km and then settle in my target rhythm, with the aim of assuming around 100-110 Go carbohydrates through gels. With my stomach in discomfort, I discarded the carbohydrates/gels and only drank water in the aid stations, keeping me at my initial rhythm. My stomach Angely was ordered around 6/7 km of brand and I could increase my effort, I did it again for the last round.
I thought the career course was really good, there were 3 loops (3 x 7 km) with great support. He warmed at the end, but the aid stations were well manned and well supplied.

Final thoughts
In general, it was a brilliant experience, the event was incredible well organized and outside the race, we were able to explore the city and the surrounding areas on Fridays and Sunday. It was tasks of distance for how good it was from an architecture, nature and a cultural perspective. They were a few days and it would start it a lot.
I am planning to do the race next year, but I would stay closer to the place of the race (Intercontinental or W hotel), I have a better nutrition plan and I hope to find a way of hitting 30 minutes of my bicycle hour …
