Around the weekend, we had a fun adventure in the aquatic port learning to fly on the beach open in JBR. This is one of the water activities that my wife and I have a curious leg and we were excited to try when the opportunity arose. It was a 30 -minute session per person where they taught us the basics to set up a Flyboard (book here).

We rarely visit the beach in JBR, since we are based on Sharjah, so it is nice that we go through the area, we always have an exciting exciting event. Our friends joined us, Lady and Ed or LadyandhersweetesCapes, who were also curious about the Flyboard.

Flyboard lessons for beginners in Dubai in Jumeirah Open Beach

We arrive at the meeting point located in the beach area of the Ritz-Carlton hotel in JBR. I am slippery of having found a good space to park our car since it is still summer. Althegh The Walk to The Beach was still far, it was the closest we could find in the free parking space available. Fridays are free parking in Dubai. 🙂

Anyway, the team of Hydro Water Sports Dubai He welcomed us and did not waste the time to prepare. After signing an exemption, we are prepared to listen to Armin, our instructor, give a quick introduction and a lesson on the Flyboard.

As this is a physical activity that is new to us, initially we got a bit aware because we did it if we could control the Flyboard Coperly. But Armin assured us that this will be easy whenever we learn to Mintain’s balance. I was the first to try it.

Duration The first 10 minutes will explain how to use the device, how to take off and what are the manual signals and safety procedures. The next 20 minutes, you will fly (and you will fall).

It was a bit challenging at the beginning because you are in the air, you have to keep your legs straight. In a normal situation, when the soil is not stable, you tend to bend down and squatting. However, in this case, you must stand directly to control the plate.

I could fly several times and many times I fell. Armin was the one who controlled the water jet and it is good that he made the pressure too strong. Remember that the more you get up, the harder you will fall.

After some more attempts, I got used to it soon and I was enjoying the experience. Shortly after, my wife and friends tested the Flyboard themselves.

Professional coach

Armin was very patient, professional and encouraging. Every time we lost control and fall, he always assured us that he is fine and would push us to start. I would share some tips until we get used to the experience. Tranquility made us more secure when driving it correctly and in the end, we had a lot of fun.

This was really enjoying Dubai’s adventure completely and we are soft to have finally tried first hand. As a advice for those who would like to prove this, it does not require you to be Atlético (Altegh, it can be advantage) whenever you are willing to get up after falling into the water. But keep in mind that you will definitely have a long night of sleep, as it will be exhausted after this activity. 🙂
