ATM 2025 Draws Record Attendance as Travel Tech and Sustainability Take Centre Stage

Arabian Travel Market 2025 concluded on May 1 at the Dubai World Trade Center, attracting more than 55,000 industry professionals from 166 countries, a 16% increase in assistance compared to the previous year. The event had more than 2,600 exhibitors in 13 corridors, which reflects the robust recovery and transformation of the global travel and tourism sector.

This year’s theme, “global trips: developing tourism tomorrow through improved connectivity,” said the fundamental role of technology and sustainability in the configuration of the future of trips. The travel technology segment experienced 25% year -on -year growth in exhibitors, highlighting the industry’s commitment to innovation. Companions such as Amadeus, Huawei, Knowledge, Expedia, Travelport, HotelBeds and Webbybeds show advances in artificial intelligence, block chain and augmented reality, with the aim of revolutionizing travel experiences.

The transformative impact of AI on aviation was a focal point, with discussions in its applications to optimize flight routes, improve climate monitoring and improve airport efficiency. Airports such as London Heathrow and Gatwick have already implemented AI systems for air traffic management, reducing delays and rationalization operations. This resurgence is expected to drive innovations in custom travel services, extended flight routes and improved connectivity.

Asia emerged as the fastest growing region in ATM 2025, with a projected increase of 27% year -on -year in exhibitors. India’s participation increased by 41%, reflecting the country’s expanding tourism market. Countries like Japan, Macao, Maldivas, Mauricio, South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, China, Cambodia, Nepal and Sri Lanka also played fundamental roles, contributing to the international presence of the event.

The Middle East showed significant growth, with a 17% increase in the exhibitor’s participation. The presence of Saudi Arabias was remarkable, presenting its Giga projects and prominent private sector companies. Europe coined constant growth at 12%, while the participation of Africa and the Americas remained consistent with the previous year.

ATM 2025 presented more than 200 high -profile speakers in 60 conferences sessions, Spross in three main stages: the global scenario, the future stage and the newly presented stage of business events. The key sessions addressed issues such as generational trends that influence hyperpersonalization in luxury trips, the generalized role of AI and data -based strategies for destination transformations.
