Mr. You Jun previously served as Global Vice President of Intel, Apple and Nvidia, where he directed political and legal issues, among other functions, throughout the Asia and Pacific region. He has a degree in International Economic Law from the University of Political Science and Law of Eastern, a juris doctor of the Northwest Law Faculty at Lewis & Clark College in the United States, and an MBA of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The inaugural conference of the “lawyers of China was globalized – Session of Hong Kong” caught significant attention, attracting 70 leaders and lawyers of several continental law firms. Participants contributed extensive legal experience in all industries, including infrastructure, energy and finance.

In his conference, Jun deeply immersed himself in the trends of the macro that shape the expansion of Chinese companies abroad. He pointed out that Chinese companies have experienced four waves of expansion abroad, and are now in the export stage of technologies and business models, where compliance management raises crucial challenges. Ge Jun emphasized that “a third of international expansion failures are caused by compliance problems.” Compliance challenges cover national regulations, the regulations of the host countries, international treaties and industry standards.
