Islamist leader among 2 dead in air strikes on Lebanon

Beirut: A leader of Jamaa Islamiya aligned in Hamas was killed on Tuesday in an Israeli strike, the Lebanese Islamist group and Israel’s army said, as the Ministry of Health informed another dead in a raid. Israel has continued to carry out regular attacks on Lebanon despite a November truce with the Hezbollah militant group that sought to stop more than a year of hostilities among enemies, including two months of war.
