Jeddah: In the heart of Alula, a Saudi community platform, Motnfs, which organizes an Earth Day event, April 22 is the iconic Rainbow Rock, also known as Arch Rock.

The theme of 2025, “Our Power, our planet,” highlights the vital role of renewable energy sources, such as solar energy and wind in the creation of a cleaner and green future.

Allula experience is designed to deepen connections with nature, promote social ties and promote environmental awareness in a fun and deep environment.

The 2025 Earth Day issue, ‘Our Power, our planet’, highlights the vital role of renewable energy sources in the creation of a cleaner and green future.

Bilal Fahad, founder and designer of Experience in Motnfs, said: “We decided to align the initiative with the topic of Earth Day 2025 through an experience that encourages practice in teamwork.

Rainbow Rock wins his name in his distinctive form. Call an iris rainbow flanked by two formations similar to the cloud. The surreal beauty of the SIT, combined with the minimal allula light pollution, makes it a main destination for camping and watching stars under crystalline skies.

“Arch Rock was chosen because it is a significant milestone in allula, and its surroundings are perfectly aligned with the theme of Earth Day and the nature of experience,” Fahad added.

Earth Day, marked worldwide on April 22 since 1970, unites more than one billion people in 193 countries to advance environmental protection. Initiatives such as tree planting and sustainability workshops highlight collective efforts to combat climate change, preserve biodiversity and reduce waste.

The nucleus of the Earth Day event in Alula is a community cleaning designed to raise awareness about environmental care and promote a shared sense of responsibility to preserve natural spaces.

“The area is measured by the clean area and the level of duration of the participants of the activity,” said Salman Al-Kanani, co-founder and Motnfs Social Network Manager.

Motnfs encourages environmental awareness not only Earth Day, but also through its activities.

“We design the experiences in an innovative way that instructs a sense of environmental responsibility in the participants. This is what characterizes our experiences, redefining the connection of people with nature and getting away from the pressures of modern life, the holy life, the holy life, life, life said, life said, life said, life said, life said, life said, life said, life said, life said life.

The Earth Day event includes a treasure search, which combines fun with environmental education.

“The experience focuses on a treasure search, where the real treasure is the land in which we live and the participants are high of what with the correct practices, they are true treasures of our treasure,” Al-Humaidi added.

Another key moment of the day will be the star, which Fahad believes that it is a powerful way to connect with the environment.

“The astronomy guide leads the participants through a trip of the night sky, sharing stories and facts that cause astonishment and conscience. Fahad said.

Motnfs operates in Riad, Jeddah and Alula, with plans to expand to more destinations within and beyond the kingdom.
