Dubai, UAE – April 19, 2025:
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially opened the RTA Jumeirah to Al Mina Bridge, linking Jumeirah Street to Al Mina Street. This bridge offers a direct route to Infinity Bridge and aims to reduce traffic congestion in one of the city’s busiest areas.

Key Features of the New RTA Bridge

The RTA Jumeirah to Al Mina Bridge spans 985 metres and includes two lanes. It can carry up to 3,200 vehicles per hour. Furthermore, the bridge is a key part of Phase 4 of the Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project, which seeks to improve traffic flow along this vital route.

Improved Travel Times with the New Bridge

As a result of the new RTA Jumeirah to Al Mina Bridge, drivers will save significant time. The journey from Jumeirah Street to Infinity Bridge now takes only 4 minutes, down from 12 minutes. This is due to the uninterrupted traffic flow on the bridge, which removes the need to stop at signals.

Enhancing the Al Shindagha Corridor with New Infrastructure

Phase 4 of the Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project stretches 4.8 kilometres. It runs from the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Road and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street to the Falcon Intersection on Al Mina Street. As a result, the RTA Jumeirah to Al Mina Bridge improves access and traffic efficiency across the corridor.

RTA’s Vision for Sustainable Urban Mobility

RTA officials confirm that the new RTA Jumeirah to Al Mina Bridge supports Dubai’s continued urban development. “We are committed to building infrastructure that meets the city’s growing needs,” said an RTA spokesperson. “This bridge enhances mobility and reduces travel time in a strategic area.”

Moreover, this project reflects Dubai’s long-term vision for sustainable transport. It aims to reduce congestion and enhance the overall driving experience for commuters.
