The orchestra celebrates the popular video game bands in Saudi Arabias ithra
Dhahran: It is “game in” at the King Abdulaziz center for world culture after he opened his doens to an event on Thursday.
The orchestral performance, which is celebrated every night at the Ithra Theater, with two shows scheduled for Friday, celebrates the sound bands of popular video games and tries to give them a new life.
The concert presents symphonic arrangements combined with HD images in the game and exclusive concept of popular titles such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Assassin’s Creed and The Witcher 3.

Sergey Smbatyan, founder of the Symphony Orchestra of the Armenian State and the artistic director and main director since 2005, was present to lend the context and comments between the scores on the opening night.
He told the crowd before the show: “If you are not a player, what I want to do is imagine that you are in a museum, an art museum, but instead of a curator he tells you about the images that you will see in you thattte story, leave these stores.
“Tonight there is no right time to applaud; there is no incorrect moment to applaud. If you listen to something you like about the thesis (Sturing to the orchestra attributes the stage), let us know.
“We are going to start tonight with roles game games, or what is known as RPG, where players assume the roles of the characters in a fictional environment. The game focuses on interactive narration, decision making and strategy.”
Dhahran resident, Paul Blay, Toke, his two daughters, Sylvia, 11, and Celeste, 10, to the show.
Blay, who is a six -year -old father, told Arab News: “I received emails about Ithra’s events and I saw this and I thought it would be fun for me and the girls go. As with anyone who loves, I shared the things I love with them.”
The Blay family moved to the kingdom last year and was anxious to attend an event that merged the games with music.
Celeste told Arab News: “I really like video game music; music is really pretty and I like to listen to that. He is a child of what motivated me to come here. And also, my father likes video games.”
The older Blay sisters have both music lessons tasks and play multiple instruments, including piano, harp and clarinet.
His father said: “Some of the best music that is composed today is for movies and video games. He hoped it would be really high quality and good (on Ithra).”
The event presented music by Guild Wars 2, World of Warcraft, The Witcher 3 and Assassin’s Creed 2, among many others.
The last show takes place on April 5, with tickets that begin in SR200 ($ 53), available at the place or on the ITHRA website.
