Berlin: Jurgen Klopp is “very happy” in his current publication in Red Bull despite the rumors that link him with a return to management with Real Madrid, his agent said Friday.
The former Liverpool manager became the Global Football Chief of Red Bull in January, taking care of a stable of clubs such as RB Leipzig, the New York Red Bulls and Bragantino in Brazil.
The elimination of quarterfinals of Real Madrid of the Champions League at the hands of the Arsenal this week has led to the speculation manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is directed to the departure at the end of the season.
The German media reported that Klopp was one of the names that Spanish giants would take care of Bernabeu’s bench.
When asked about the rumors, his agent Marc Kosicke said that Klopp, 57, was enjoying his new work.
“Jurgen is very happy with his new role with Red Bull,” Kosicke told Sky Deutschland.
He also speaks on Friday, RB coach Leipzig, Zolt Low, said “could not imagine” Klopp moving towards Real Madrid, adding that the German was “very happy at work.”
Low praised the impact of Klopp, saying: “He is a show that can unite a club, a group of 40, 50, 60 people, and take them with him.
“He adds incredible value with his experience, his human quality and his energy.”
In a 23 -year career as first level manager with Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz, Klopp left each club on their own, a rarity in training.
“It doesn’t matter where it is here, the leg, they give it 100 percent,” Low said, and added “regardless of where he is, he has stayed and has done the job. It is important for him to make a clean exit.”
Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso, is considered a leading candidate for Real Madrid’s work. Alonso, a former Madrid player, said Friday that “it was not the time” to discuss his future.
