Georgia tornado leave teen critically injured, homes destroyed

 

Henry County, Go. – A Georgia community staggers after a tornado landed in Henry County on Thursday. The tornado crossed several houses and left an 18 -year -old who critically criticized a hospital, according to the County Police.

The tornado landed just before 4 pm local time outside the city of Locust Grove, about 40 miles southeast Atlanta.

Henry County Police deputy director Jason Bolton, told Fox 5 Atlanta that the tornado did not have much warning in advance.

“The first call came around 3:32 pm, and that was correct almost at the same time that we recovered the warning of the National Meteorological Center.”

The tornado sent the neighbors running to cover themselves.

“I looked out of my slip, I see the rotation and things flying,” Courtney Bucio 5 Atlanta said. “I covered my hands, knees and began to pray.”

The video on social networks showed a tornado crossing the interstate 75 in Henry County in the same period.

County emergency management is asking residents to receive photos of damage to their properties and offer assistance to any person affected by the tornado.
