Lionel Messi, Inter Miami lose to Orlando City in MLS | Football News

Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami had one of his worst performances of the season, losing at home against his rivals in Florida.

Lionel Messi’s frustration grew as Inter Miami’s miserable race continued with a 3-0 defeat at home against Orlando City in Major League Soccer (MLS).

The defeat of Florida Derby on Sunday leaves Miami with a victory of its last seven games in all competitions. They have passed to the sixth at the East Conference, with Orlando jumping them.

Messi only had two shots on the goal and torn a free kick when his shape collapsed with that of his team.

“Now, we will really see if we are a team in difficult times, because everything is going well, it is very easy,” Messi told Apple TV.

“When difficult times arrive, it is when we have to be more united than ever, be a real team and join our eels,” he added.

Messi questioned arbitration, but in truth, the loss had little to do with arbitration and much to do with the shalmolic defense, a disarticulated midfield and an attack without blows led by Luis Suarez that fades quickly.

Orlando grabbed the advantage in the 43rd minute with an objective of absurd simplicity. The goalkeeper Pedro Gallese threw the ball in the field, and Luis Muriel ran clear and slid beyond Oscar Ustari.

Visitors were receiving a lot of joy when going directly against a background of Miami, which was at sea. Argentine Martin Ojeda should do better when he found his own goal in the goal, but crashed.

The veteran archer from Miami, Ustari, made a good double except, but then the 38 -year -old was to blame for the second goal of Orlando.

The ball fell to Marco Pasalic on the edge of the box, and its low shot crossed Ustari’s hands and legs to double Orlando’s advantage.

Miami coach Javier Mascherano launched the attacking players in an attempt to recover something from the game, but it was in vain.

In the fourth minute of detention time, Duncan McGuare broke the left, and his Icelandic striker Dagur Thorhallsson ended at home to conclude an impressive performance of visitors.

Miami has granted 20 goals in its last seven games, with its only victory against the Red Bulls in New York on May 3.

Mascherano said the first goal changed the game.

“I will say that for 25 or 30 minutes, we had it for all control playing in the middle of the opponent, but it is clearly. I will not deny what the result is,” he said.

The MLS campaign in Miami was going well until its departure in the Concacaf Champions Cup at the hands of the Vancouver Whitecaps. Mascherano admitted that the morale of the team had a bone blow.

“Clearly, something has happened where the team has lost a lot of confidence. We have had a drop in the level, individually and collectively, and it is clear in one way or another: we have tried with different, shattered schemes and bites.
