He has a 19 -month bone since the beginning of the Israeli war in Gaza. The International Court of Justice is investigating a “plausible genocide”, while the International Court has issued orders for trial for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former gallant defense for crimes. Genocide academics, the main human rights organizations and experts in the United Nations have identified what is happening in Gaza as a genocide. People around the world have marched to ask their governments to act to stop him.
There is only one power that gets in the way to end this genocide: the United States. An administration has delivered to another and, nevertheless, there have been no changes in politics. Unconditional support to Israel seems to be a doctrine that the political establishment of the United States is not willing to touch.
Several analyzes have suggested that at the root of this “special relationship” are Judeo -Christian values and a shared democratic path; Others have argued that it has to do with the bipartisan system and the kind of donors that American politics dominates.
But reality is much simpler. The United States sees Israel as a critical ally because it helps to promote global supremacy of the United States at a time when it faces an inevitable decrease. Israel’s survival in its current colonial form: American elites believe: it is closely linked to US supremacy.
The supremacy of the American Empire
Since the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, the United States has led a unipolar world as the only superpower.
As a continuation of the Occidental Imperial Global Domain, the United States Empire has a lot of influence on global economic, political and cultural affairs, often with devastating conflicts for the lives of millions of people worldwide.
Like all empires, the United States solidifies and expands its position of supremacy and hegemony in the world through its excessive military force. Through the American infrastructure of organized imperial violence, it is able to ensure access and control of resources, commercial routes and markets. This, in turn, guarantee continuous economic growth and domain.
But in recent years, we have seen signs that American supremacy is being challenged. The impulse to do so accumulates after the US financial crisis 2008-2009, which became a global. He demonstrated the negative impact of American supremacy on the world economy and motivated powers such as China and India to take measures to protect against it. The BRICS economy coalition arose as its shared response in the Economic Front.
In the following years, several members of foreign policy of the United States, including the failure of the United States in Afghanistan, its reduction influence in Africa and its inability to prevent the Russian invasion of Ukraine, also demonstrated the limits of the US global cup.
The emergence of US President Donald Trump and populism of extreme right in the United States reflected the fact that cracks appeared in the nucleus of the so -called liberal order led by the United States.
No empire has easily accepted its decline, and Neith will. He intends to hold on to his state as the unquestionable superpower, and for that, he needs imperial advanced positions to remain faithfully by his side.
Israel: the most reliable imperial ally
However, through the Cold War, Western Europe and Israel presented themselves as the Junior partners of the United States in their confrontation with the Soviet Union in Europe and the Middle East. Today, while the transatlantic alliance of decades seems to hesitate, the American-Israeli relationship seems as strong as ever.
Israel has demonstrated loyalty as an advanced imperial position. He has played a key role in supporting American imperialism in two ways.
First, Israel helps the United States to ensure access and control on one of the most critical markets for any empire: the energy market. The Middle East is an important force in global energy trade, and its oil and gas policies can have a tremendous impact on the world economy.
What the United States fears is losing its domain in global energy markets by a competitor power, so it is to ensure its interests establishing a regional order in the Middle East that favors imperial power too much. This new order is about giving the US a great advantage over any competitor that approaches to venture into the region, namely China.
For the administration of former president of the United States, Joe Biden, and his successor, the Trump administration, the Israeli genocide of the Palestinians and aggression against neighboring countries, it is about establishing this new reality of security in the region by eliminating harassment. That is why the support of the United States has not stopped.
Secondly, Israel plays a fundamental role in the progress of US military supremacy. The United States provides Israel with billions of dollars in help, which is in fact a form of self -investment in the development of military capacities and the expansion of sales. The Israeli State uses these funds to buy weapons of the US weapons manufacturers, which use Israel’s deployment of that armament in the Middle East as testing tools and marketing. Therefore, the United States military-industrial complex can sell more weapons and continue innovating and growing to ensure that the United States has a military advantage over its.
In this sense, Israel is one of the most critical parts of the imperial machinery of the United States. Without it, the United States would be to challenge its imperial power in the Middle East. It is for this reason that they have drove once proclaimed that if Israel did not exist, the United States would have to invent it.
Free decolonization of Palestine and Global
Around the last year, we have witnessed an unprecedented attack against the Palestinian solidarity movement in the United States, which has affected all public spheres, including education and medical care. We have also seen an intensification of US threats against states, such as South Africa, for their support for Palestine.
Down in the magnitude of the Stources and Energy that the United States empire spends on the elimination and subjugation of the Palestinians, one has to wonder, what are these people without economic and diplomatic capital or military power that terrifies the world of the world?
The answer is that the empire of the United States sees a free Palestine as the beginning of its own end.
The United States is actively working to prevent the world from doing the right thing and isolate the Israeli state economically and politically because it fears what can come later. Such isolation would make Israel continue to continue its existence as a colonial colonial project, and it could ultimately lead to a decolonization process. The final result of that would be Palestinians and Israelis who live together under a new decolonial political system that would be integrated into the region and that imperial power would no longer serve.
A decolonized entity in Palestine/Israel would be an important step in the decolonization of world order and its release from American imperial power. And this is what the United States fears.
In this sense, it is in the own interest of most of the world’s nations to follow this path. The future of the Palestinians, who face the real threat of total elimination and subjugation today, depends on this. And the future of many other nations, if they want to avoid the current indescribable brutalities that the Palestinians face on their own, it also depends on this.
As much as the United States need an Israel colonial colonial to avoid its decline, the world, particularly the global south, needs a decolonized Palestine to have a decline in the United States. Palestine, not only metaphorically, but literally, interposes in the path of the march of Western imperialism and Western imperialism towards continuous global supremacy.
