FIA Delivers Financial Turnaround, Marking New Era of Growth and Stability

The Fédération Internationale de L’Aphtmobile (FIA), the Global Government Body for Motor Sports and Federation for Mobility Organizations worldwide, has announced today a fundamental change in the financial health of Fédération, under the leadership of the FIA.

At the end of fiscal year 2024, the Fédération is pleased to inform that it has achieved a robust operational result of € 4.7 million and an operational income or € 182.0m. This is taken from considerable financial loss or € -24.0m in 2021, before President Mohammed Ben Sulayem was elected.

In line with the promise of the manifesto of President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, and under the new leadership of the FIA ​​since 2021, the organization has suffered an integral process of strategic transformation, designed to radically improve internal systems and processes. The operating result of € 4.7 million marks a strong improvement of 2023, with an operational income growth of € +26.7M respectively +17% year after year. The FIA ​​is absent from any financial debt in fiscal year 2024, and reports a healthy or 45%capital ratio.

The current leadership team has worked rigorously since 2021 to improve its internal systems, controls and processes. It has strongly improved the control and acquisition automation, implemented internal quarterly reports and established a financial management model that allows effective decision -making within senior management. This model has allowed an increase in budget control and has allowed the FIA ​​to review it is the price and reallocate resources to better pursue its strategic priorities in the sport and mobility of the engine.
