Pāhala, Hawai- On Tuesday there was an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the coast of the Great Island of Hawaii.
He felt light shakes in all southern coast of Hawaii, according to the United States geological service.
The earthquake occurred at 9:37 am and focused about 20 miles deep.

Hawaii is Kilauea’s home, a volcano that often experienced seismic activity before and a duration of an eruption, but it is unlikely that the earthquake is related to any volcanic activity. This earthquake was focused on the high seas.
