The European Truck Race Championship FIA of 2025 resumes this weekend, directing directly from the opening of the Misano season to Lausitzring, where the second round takes place, running next to DTM in a three -day gossip full of action full of action
After a dramatic openings of the 2025 season in Misano, the Goodyear Fia Etrc grid moves directly to Lausitzring for the second round of the eight -events campaign.
The reigning champion Norbert Kiss made a dominant statement in Italy, recovering from the first technical problems to take four victories of four possible. Despite losing the first classification session due to a management failure, the Hungarian maximized its points and carries the classification that is directed to the place of eastern Germany.
Jochen Hahn showed a strong rhythm during the weekend of Misano, but could not turn that speed into a victory, with penalties and the test of late race incidents. It is still the closest challenger of KISS.
René Reinert made a remarkable return to full -time competition, returning to the cabin after a three -year break. Driving the old Kiss machine, the German quickly adapted and inserted again into the titan class fight.
Steffi Halm also impressed, claiming two general podiums with assertive races through the weekend. His performance suggests that it can be a constant threat in the race for the title this season.
The titan class remains finely balanced. Only five points separate Reinert into Fourth and Sascha Lenz in the seventh, which underlines the competitiveness of the 2025 field. Further down in the order, Antonio Albacete and Luke Garrett will seek to recover after a collision in Carrera 4 of Misano expelled both with very damaged trucks.
In the Chrome class, Mark Taylor’s two victories were compensated by two DNF, which allowed Clemens Hecker to take the advantage of the first points with a constant presentation limited by a victory of race 4. The first five in the classification are covered by only six points.
Bradley Smith, in her first full season of ETRC, was promising despite the first setbacks, while Steffen Faas, who had a Misano departure without a point, continues to develop her Freightliner, after having changed her season before the season.
The event in Lausitzring will begin on Friday and continuously over the weekend. All action will be broadcast live through the official YouTube channel of Goodyear Fia Ethrc.
