ADU celebrates the ninth edition of its art competition for autism
Abu Dhabi, Eau, May 5, 2025: As part of its commitment to inclusive education and community commitment, the University of Abu Dhabi (ADU) organized the ninth edition of its art for autism on April 24 on its main campus. The event, held in collaboration with the Foundation of Music and Arts of Abu Dhabi (ADMAF) and Emirates Autism Society (EAS), aligns with the EAU Agenda for the social inclusion of promotion and national strategy to empower people of determination). This year’s competition welcomed more than 110 works of art presented by students of inclusive schools and specialized centers in the EAU. The winners were selected in two age categories, from six to 11 and 12 to 25, and honored for their creativity, technique and personal expression.
In the age category of six to 11 years, first, awarded to Khalil Amro Barakat, Latifa Ahmed Alqaydi and Ahmad Loikov, of the Dubai Autism Center. The second place went to Nasek Alsabah of the city of Sharjah for humanitarian services: the Khorfakkan branch. The third place was shared by Selim Sarili of the Dubai Autism Center and Razan Qasem of the city of Sharjah for humanitarian services: the Khorfakkan branch.
In the age category of 12 to 25 years, first, shared by Lance Gavin Toledo, Rawdha al Bahrani and Ghaith Ali Hassan, of the Dubai Autism Center. The second place was granted to Aaliya Siddiqui Khan and Dinal Ekanayake of the Al Nore training center for determination people, as well as Hamdan Salem Almbari of the Dubai Autism Center.
