FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem to Visit Marrakech for FIA Region I Spring Meeting

The president of the FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, will visit Marrakech for the FIA I Region of Spring
The Fédération Internationale de L’Aphtmobile (FIA), the Global Government Body for Motorsport and the Federation for Mobility Organizations Worldwide, will be in Marrakech for the annual region of the FIA I Spring Meeting.
The Conference, organized by Mobilité Club Maroc, will bring together mobility and motoring leaders from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to discuss key initiatives in road safety, sustainable mobility, Regional Deportivo Ben Sat.
Speaking before his visit to Morocco, the president of the FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, said: “As a global federation, it is not that we can unite our community in one place, so moments like this are particularly special.
“The next few days will provide an invaluable opportunity for commitment and participation, along with the key votes to decide on the leadership of our community.”
The Spring Meeting of Region I will coincide with a series of sessions designed to equip member clubs with new strategies and ideas about evolving mobility and sports tendencies. The event will be an opportunity to share knowledge and best practices between topics such as services, sustainable responsibility and consumer -centered innovation.
When commenting more, Ben Sulayem said: “Our members are fundamental for the success of the FIA, and I am incredible proud of the progress we have made together my first term in the position and the successes we have achieved.
“I am committed to the transformation of the FIA into a modern, accessible and connected organization. We worldwide continue our mission to double the participation of motor racing through base initiatives and accessibility programs such as the affordable crossing and the global karting plan, while guaranteeing the continuous empowerment of all regions in our mobility capabilities.”
The structure of the member club of the FIA forms the backbone of the governance and operations of the Federation, and each club of full members has the voting rights in the elections and regulatory decisions of the FIA. The clubs are grouped into two main categories, with some that serve in both roles:
- Mobility Clubs: Provide mobility and representation services The interest of road users, with an approach to road safety, travel and tourism, consumer rights and sustainable mobility
- National Sports Authorities (ASNS): govern and develop motor racing nationwide, are responsible for sporting events, licensing and participation between regulations
Within the FIA there are four mobility regions and 6 sports areas. Region I of the FIA is composed of 101 mobility member clubs throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, representing about 41 million members.
