
Israel inflicted worst humanitarian disaster in Gaza, Indonesia tells ICJ – Middle East Monitor

Indonesian Foreign Minister, Sugction, told the International Court of Justice (ICI) yesterday that Israel has inflicted on the “worst humanitarian disaster” in this century in the Gaza Strip, since public audiences on Israeli obligations continued for the third day.
Speaking before the court, Sugiono said that the Court’s decision will serve as a guidance for the UN General Assembly to preserve the rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that Israel must comply with international laws.
“Israel must accept the roles of international organizations, including UNRWA, and respect the immunity granted to the agency and its employees in the occupied territories,” he said, asking Israel to take the necessary measures to the basis and humans and humanitories against the Palestinians.
The main Indonesian diplomat has also emphasized that the protection of human rights does not cease in times of armed conflict, and that it is Israel’s duty to fulfill them.
Indonesia, he added, rejects the forced displacement of the Palestinians and asks for the entry of humanitarian aid in the territories occupied in accordance with international conventions.
Sugiyono emphasized the need for Israel to cooperate with international agencies and agencies to provide basic services to the Palestinians, accusing it of not complying with international laws and cooperation with UN agencies, contributing to “the worst humanitaneianiania.”
The minister concluded his comments by emphasizing that the collective punishment is prohibited according to international law, noting that Israel is completely to the Gaza Strip and addresses all the Palestinians indiscriminately. He explained that the actions of the occupation state undermine the right of the Palestinian people to self -determination.
